Appeal after Foxton collision
It happened on Friday
Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage, after a serious collision on the A10, at Foxton.
Officers and paramedics were called to Royston Road at 6.03pm on Friday (10 July), after the collision, involving a silver Volkswagen Golf and a black Mercedes C200.
The driver of the Golf, a 72 year-old man from Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, suffered serious injuries. His passenger, a 63-year-old woman, also from Inverurie, suffered life-threatening injuries.
Both were taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, where they remain in a stable condition.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 66-year-old man from London, was taken to the same hospital with minor injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, has dashcam footage, or saw either vehicle in the moments leading up to it, is asked to report it via the force website, quoting incident 507 of 10 July.
