A 22-year-old man has been seriously injured after a car crashed on the A14 westbound near Stow-Cum-Quy.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene at around 2pm on 18th November 2025 after a grey Toyota Aygo collided with a road sign and barriers.

The driver, who is from Harston in South Cambridgeshire, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Sergeant Steph Corletto has urged witnesses of the incident or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

She said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have seen the Aygo or has dashcam footage of it before the crash to get in touch with us.

"I'd also like thank everyone who was caught up in the road closure for their patience – we don’t make the decision lightly to close a major route like the A14."

Anyone with information or relevant footage is asked to report it to Cambridgeshire Police.
