A provisional trial date has been set for man accused of the murder of a woman in Downend at the weekend.
Geoffrey Billett, 68, is charged with the murder of Jill Billett, 69.
Mrs Billett was found with serious injuries at an address on Overhill Road in the early hours of Sunday morning (27 September) and died in hospital a few hours later.
Geoffrey Billett appeared at Bristol Crown Court today (30 September) and was remanded into custody ahead of a plea hearing on 18 November.
A provisional trial date has also been set for 15 March 2027.
