A man has been charged with the murder of a man found dead on a roof garden in Bristol.

Nigel Lubban is accused of killing 54-year-old Anthony Clemmings five days ago (Tuesday 5th May 2026).

The 50-year-old - who was arrested in the West Midlands two days ago - is due to appear in court tomorrow (Monday 11th May 2026)

The family of Anthony Clemmings, who was known as Tony, released a tribute.

They said: “Tony was a lovely man to all those that truly knew him.

“He was a much-loved son, brother and uncle and he will be greatly missed.

“His death has come as a huge shock to us and we ask for privacy as we try to come to terms with what has happened.”
