Police have closed a section of the M5 in Gloucestershire after serious collision this morning.
Officers were called to a report of a collision at around 11.40am today (Tuesday) between junctions 14 (Dursley) and 13 (Stroud), close to Michaelwood Services.
Emergency services remain at the scene on the M5 Northbound.
All lanes in both directions were closed following the incident but the southbound carriageway reopened around 2pm this afternoon.
Motorists are being advised to find alternative routes and National Highways say there are severe delays on the A38 diversion route.
Police say further updates will be provided once more information becomes available.
