Long delays on M4 near Bristol after crash

Drivers are facing long delays on the M4 in Bristol after a crash closed two lanes on the westbound carriageway.
The incident happened between junction 19 for the M32 and junction 20 at the Almondsbury Interchange early this morning (January 30th).
Traffic cameras show one vehicle has been moved onto the hard shoulder, with emergency services responding at the scene.
Roads and traffic monitoring site Inrix first reported the crash at 7.48am, confirming that lanes one and two out of three are shut, causing heavy queues.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area if possible and expect delays.
