Global DJ James Hype is set to bring his set to Bristol for a charity concert that will directly fund the construction of micro-homes for people experiencing homelessness.

Taking place at Bristol Beacon on Saturday 22nd November 2025, the event, named BillyChip Live, is one of only two UK dates for James Hype this year.

The concert is a collaboration between BillyChip®, an award-winning homelessness support platform, and Help Bristol’s Homeless, a local charity focused on creating safe micro-homes out of converted shipping containers.

The initiative aims to raise funds for three new homes through ticket sales.

“What if your rave built a home?” James Hype said. “I’m proud to support BillyChip Live - it’s an honour to headline a night that’s doing more than entertaining.”

“This is a new blueprint for what live music can achieve,” BillyChip’s Director of Communications Jack Gascoigne said. “With James Hype on board, we’re proving that your night out can help someone get their life back.”

James Hype’s SYNC show, well-known from his residency at Hï Ibiza, pushes the boundaries of traditional DJ sets by synchronising beats with immersive visuals, creating a 360-degree audio-visual experience.

His appearance at Bristol Beacon promises to deliver a unique, multi-sensory night with fans surrounding the DJ in a completely transformed venue.

“This night really demonstrates the versatility of our spaces,” Bristol Beacon Programme Director Todd Wills said. “As a charity, we are fundamentally committed to supporting community-focused initiatives and so the chance to partner with BillyChip and James Hype on this highly original concept is an exciting and important one.”

Proceeds from the event will go directly to Help Bristol’s Homeless charity, whose founder Jasper Thompson said the concert would help provide hope and opportunity to those in need.

“Thanks to BillyChip Live, we’ll be able to give more people a safe place to begin again,” Jasper Thompson said.
