A370 closed at Flax Bourton after car hits telephone pole
A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving
The A370 is closed in both directions near Flax Bourton after a car hit a telephone pole, causing it to fall and obstruct the road.
Emergency services responded to the incident at approximately 5.40am on Friday 24th July.
Fortunately, no one sustained serious injuries in the crash.
One person has been arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit and drink driving.
Drivers are advised to find different routes and plan their journeys in advance to avoid the closure.
