80-year-old seriously injured in Bristol e-bike collision

Police are seeking witnesses following a crash involving an e-bike and an 80-year-old man in Bristol, leaving him hospitalized with potentially life-changing injuries.

The incident occurred at approximately 10.05pm on 10th June on the A38 Gloucester Road near the Quarrington Road junction.

The pedestrian was crossing the road when the collision happened and is currently receiving medical treatment.

His next of kin have been informed.

A man in his forties has been detained by police in connection with the collision.

While the investigation is ongoing, police are conducting CCTV and house-to-house inquiries and are appealing for those with information or footage to assist.
