Two women have been left seriously injured after a car crashed into a wall, causing damage to a shop in Easton, Bristol early on bank holiday Monday.
Avon and Somerset Police were called to the A432 Stapleton Road, near Fox Park, at around 4.10am after reports that a silver car had collided with a wall.
Both women who were in the car were taken to hospital for treatment, with police confirming that one has suffered potentially life-threatening injuries.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident, particularly the driver of a car believed to be a taxi, who stopped at the scene.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or saw what happened.
