Car passenger dies following collision in Clevedon

A car passenger has died following a collision in Clevedon.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Court Lane at 6.10pm yesterday evening, following a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a Skoda Octavia, near the Cook’s Lane junction.

No other injuries were reported.

Police say the family is being supported by a specially-trained family liaison officer.

Court Lane reopened shortly after midnight.
