Police say large chocolate coins were stolen

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a man captured in a CCTV image who may have information regarding a theft at a coffee shop in Bristol.

The incident occurred on Augustines Parade at around 9.30am on Sunday, 1st March.

An unidentified suspect entered the coffee shop. A staff member sustained bruising on her back, arms, and leg, as well as cuts to her left hand and arm.

Large chocolate coins were reportedly stolen.

Police have released the image after completing initial CCTV enquiries and staying in touch with the victim.

They describe the man in the image as white, in his early thirties, approximately 5ft 7-10ins tall, wearing a dirty navy-blue tracksuit, and without shoes.

He was seen with a black dog with a bandana around its neck.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information about the incident is urged to contact police.
