Bristol City's Premier League dreams ended on Monday night after losing to Sheffield United.

Coming off the back of a 3-0 defeat at Ashton Gate, the Robins had a lot of work to do going into the second leg of the play-off semi-finals.

The Blades took a 3-0 win at Bramall Lane, leaving them with a comfortable 6-0 aggregate victory, and ending City's 2024/25 campaign.

The loss follows a historic season for Bristol City, who made it to the Championship play-offs for the first time since 2008.

Sheffield United will play either Sunderland or Coventry in the final at Wembley on the 24th May.
