Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious
Police searching for a missing 19-year-old from Yatton, North Somerset, have confirmed the discovery of a body on Boxing Day.
Avon and Somerset Police had issued an appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of Adam, who was reported missing on Christmas Eve.
Officers have now announced that a body has been found in the Yatton area.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We have a sad update this afternoon. Officers searching for missing Adam found a body in the Yatton area this morning. While formal identification has yet to take place, his family have been informed and our thoughts are with them. The death is not being treated as suspicious.”
