Man taken to hospital following crash involving car and quad bike near Selkirk
A 64-year-old man has been taken to hospital for treatment following a crash involving a car and a quad bike in the Scottish Borders.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the A708 near Selkirk around 6.30am this morning (Wednesday).
An air ambulance from Glasgow arrived near the Waterwheel Cafe around 6.50am, but returned back to base at the airport around 40 minutes later.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.05am on Wednesday, we received a report of a crash involving a car and a quad bike near Selkirk.
“Emergency services attended and a 64-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.”
