Man, 35, taken to hospital with serious injuries following attack in Peebles
A 35-year-old man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being attacked by two men in Peebles.
The incident took place outside a premises in the town's Northgate around 8.30pm on Sunday.
Police are appealing for information.
Detective Constable Nicky Batten, from Police Scotland, said: “The incident left the man with serious injuries, and we are keen to trace the men responsible.
“We know that there were people in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident, and I’d ask those who did to come forward with information.
“I am also appealing to those in the local area who have dash-cam footage or private CCTV to please review this to see if it has captured anything of significance.”
