Chart-topper Nathan Evans has surprised staff at a beauty spot in the Scottish Borders - by turning up to film a music video.

The Wellerman star and the Saint Phnx band brought their instruments with them to St Abbs Nature Reserve, near Coldingham, today (Monday).

It comes ahead of the release of their album, Angels' Share, next Friday (January 16th).

In a post on the National Trust for Scotland attraction's Facebook page, a spokesperson said: "What a random Monday surprise!

"Privileged to bump into Nathan Evans and his band carrying a drum up the road to the reserve to film a music video so gave them a lift!

"Every day is different here at the Head 😎🌊"

A number of signing events are planned to mark the release of the record which features tracks like "Milarrochy Bay" and "Cotton Eye Joe".

In a post on his Facebook page, former postman Nathan - who performed at Edge Fest, near Jedburgh in 2024 - says: "We're Scottish and Scotland is our Happy Place."

Of course, they're not the first chart stars to film a music video at St Abbs.

Harry Styles mingled with locals as he shot scenes for Adore You in the nearby fishing village in August 2019.

However, the location - best known for its stunning cliffs and clear waters - also gained fame as New Asgard in Marvel movie Avengers: Endgame.
