Emotional appeal to find missing peregrine falcon last seen near Branxton

The owner of a missing peregrine falcon is making an emotional appeal for help to reunite her with the bird after it escaped from a farm in the Scottish Borders.
Kimberley-Paige Armstrong says she has spent every day with Willow for the last nine years before she disappeared on the night of June the 10th.
The iconic bird of prey was last spotted over 30 miles away on a road outside the village of Branxton, just over the border in Northumberland.
But, despite spending several days searching the area, Willow has not yet been found.
"I am absolutely devastated," Kimberley said. "She was the first ever falcon I got myself and she means the world to me.
"I know it's not your typical bond like a cat or a dog where you sit and get cuddled up to them but once you make a bond with a falcon it's something you will cherish for the rest of your life."

Peregrine falcons are renowned as the fastest animals on Earth, capable of reaching speeds of more than 200mph when diving for prey.
"I'm 31 years old and I've been around falcons since the day I was brought home from hospital because it's been a passion of my dad's long before I was born," Kimberley explained, "and I'm so grateful to have been raised around such remarkable creatures.
"Unfortunately we've been looking for the past few days and we've had no luck, so I just want to ask for the public's continued support in trying to reunite us with Willow.
"Even just when you're putting the bins out, checking roofs, checking your neighbour's roof, you never know she could be sat there," she said. "She doesn't need to be just sitting in a tree.
"She loves people, she's an absolute sweetheart, so she's not to be afraid of."
Anyone who believes they have seen Willow is being urged to contact Kimberley direct on 07575921199.
