£30,000 worth of bikes and tools stolen in five days in Innerleithen

Investigations are continuing after thieves stole bikes and power tools worth more than £30,000 during a series of break-ins to sheds and garages in the Scottish Borders.
The thefts took place in Innerleithen between Tuesday and Saturday last week.
Police say they're keeping an open mind about whether the incidents are linked and advising locals to be vigilant.
A yellow and black Neuk Proof Mega downhill bike, a black Cube One 77 e-bike, a black Trek Fuel EXE e-bike and an orange and red Levo e-bike worth around £15,200 in total were taken from a garage in the Leithen Mills area between 11.30pm on Wednesday (August 5th) and 6.15am the following morning.
A bronze Santa Cruz Megatower CS mountain bike and a turquoise and navy Trek Rail 7 E-bike worth around £10,000 were taken along with vehicles keys from a shed in the Horsburgh Street area sometime between August 4th and 8th.
Milwakee power tools, a Sihl petrol strimmer, a chainsaw and various batteries and chargers worth more than £5,000 were taken from a shed in the Princes Street area sometime overnight on Friday.
And a black and white Trek Remedy 8 mountain bike worth £2,000 was stolen following a break-in to a shed in the Horsburgh Street area around the same time.
Officers are keeping an open mind about the incidents being linked and are advising the public to be vigilant in the town.

Detective Constable Michael Keean said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible for these break-ins and to find the items stolen.
“We are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious around the time of these thefts to get in touch. Please check any private CCTV you have or dash-cam footage and contact us if something has been captured that could assist with our investigation.
“We are also asking people to be vigilant and protect their property as well as reporting anything suspicious that could be a break-in to police.”
