Man charged after emergency services called to incident in Hawick
A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment after emergency services were called to reports of an injured man in Hawick.
Police say they were alerted to an incident in Baker Street around 3am this morning (Saturday).
Reports from the town suggest the road - just off the High Street - was sealed off while officers were in attendance.
A 20-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3am on Saturday (November 1st), we were called to a report of an injured man on Baker Street in Hawick.
“Emergency services attended and the 20-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment before being discharged.
“Another 20-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, November 3rd.”
