A hang glider pilot has been taken to hospital after crashing their aircraft in the Scottish Borders.
Emergency services - including an air ambulance - swooped on a hillside near Innerleithen after the alarm was raised around 8pm last night (Friday).
It's understood the search focussed on an area known locally as Rocky, a viewpoint on Pirn Crag - part of the Kirnie Law loop.
Police, fire and mountain rescue teams quickly located the casualty, who was taken to the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh for treatment.
The air ambulance returned to Glasgow around 11pm. The condition of the pilot in charge of the hang glider is unknown.
