Man who touched teenager's bum on Eyemouth beach placed on Sex Offenders Register
A Polish man who touched a 14-year-old girl on the bum and hips on the beach in Eyemouth has been placed on the Sex Offenders Register for five years.
Sebastian Gronski, who gave an address in Burnmouth, was found guilty of sexually assaulting the teenager following a trial last month.
His solicitor blamed alcohol misuse for his client's behaviour.
Jedburgh Sheriff Court heard the incident took place at Well Brae Beach on June the 20th last year.
Gronski, who appeared in the dock with the support of an interpreter, has been banned from contacting the teenager for three years and told to pay her £100 in compensation.
In addition, he has been fined £500 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.
