Crowds converge on Scottish Borders holiday park as Callum Beattie headlines opening night of expanded Edge Fest

It has welcomed some of the biggest names in the music industry to the Scottish Borders since it was launched three years ago.
The fourth annual Edge Fest is set to get underway at Lilliardsedge Holiday Park near Jedburgh, this evening (Friday).
Salamander Street star Callum Beattie will headline the opening night of the festival, which has been expanded from two to three days.
Scottish country-pop singer-songwriter Lucy Tay gets proceedings under way in the big top at 6pm. She is followed by pop duo The Eves and chart-toppers The Hoosiers.
On Saturday, 90s favourites Five will headline following performances from the likes of fellow chart stars Emeli Sandé, Professor Green, Sigala and disco legends Boney M.
Boyzone singer Ronan Keating will bring down the curtain on Sunday. He follows performances from rap star Tinie Tempah and our own George Bowie.
Festival director Stuart Macdonald told Greatest Hits Radio: "We're really proud to be able to attract people like Ronan Keating and Five, who are selling out arenas across the country.
"Our main reason for launching the festival was to give people in the Borders a chance to see these kind of acts without the hassle of travelling to the likes of Newcastle, Edinburgh, or Glasgow.
"And now the tables are slightly turned in that there are people coming from outwith the Borders to see some of the acts that are performing at Edge Fest.
"I can remember seeing both Tinie Tempah and Emeli Sandé performing on the main stage at T in the Park all those years ago so, for them to now be in our line-up, it feels like a really strange sort of full circle moment."

Glamping has been added to the festival feel this year, while the VIP tent also returns with some additions.
Shuttle bus services will be operating across the Borders - from as far afield as Galashiels, Hawick, Kelso and Lauder; while a new car park has also been set up off the A68 to keep up with demand.
"The festival has really taken off in the last few years," Stuart added.
"When it started, we had a 5,000 capacity and now we're expecting to welcome around 13,000 people through the gates over the weekend.
"It shows the festival has grown and gained a reputation as one of the events that people look forward to attending."
