Look who's headlining Edge Fest 2025!
The Scottish Borders biggest music festival returns for a third year...

Scottish rockers Travis and X Factor star Olly Murs will headline the Borders biggest music festival this summer, it has been confirmed.
Sister Sledge, The Vengaboys and GBX Anthems host George Bowie are among the other acts joining them on stage at Edge Fest 2025, alongside Example, Newton Faulkner, and The Bay City Rollers.
Organisers had been teasing the return of the family-friendly event on August 30th and 31st following the success of last year, when around 8,000 people packed into Lilliardsedge Holiday Park, near Jedburgh, to watch performances from the likes of McFly, Lightning Seeds, and Scouting for Girls.
This year, Scottish favourites Skipinnish, who celebrated their 25th anniversary with a sold-out concert at Edinburgh Castle, have also been included on the bill, alongside Nathan Carter - who's been described as Ireland's number one country singer; and local band Western End, fresh from supporting Skerryvore on tour.
Organiser Stuart Macdonald told Greatest Hits Radio: "We are delighted to be bringing the festival back for 2025 and have invested heavily in continuing to grow the line-up and the festival itself.
"It’s certainly not without its challenges but we remain committed to bringing one of the best weekends in music to Lilliardsedge, and of course Jedburgh and the greater Borders area."Â
The two-day event has already helped entice some of the biggest names in the music industry to our region since it was launched three years ago.
"The main reason we started the festival is because people are travelling to the likes of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle to see their favourite bands, and we really wanted to bring them to the Borders so that people can enjoy the same experiences here on their doorstep," Stuart explained.
"Equally, so that people can come to the Borders and enjoy live music in the surroundings that we're lucky enough to call home."
Many fans had already successfully guessed the names of the headline acts after organisers posted a picture saying "things are looking up" - a reference to Olly Murs' 2014 hit; while their glamorous assistant posed under an umbrella - a nod to Fran Healy and co's first top ten hit, Why Does It Always Rain On Me?
Stuart continued: "Our team have worked really hard over the last six months to secure our two huge headline acts - both arena-selling artists.
"We've also got the likes of Sister Sledge who are travelling in from the US; we've got other Scottish bands; some local bands, and other artists from up and down the UK.
"So we're really pleased with how it's all come together, and just look forward to welcoming everybody to Edge Fest in August for another great weekend."
