Police seize cocaine worth estimated £100,000 following raids

Two people have been arrested after police seized cocaine with an estimated street value of £100,000 in the Scottish Borders.

Officers made the discovery of Class A drugs following searches of addresses in Galashiels and Tweedbank yesterday (Tuesday).

A 44-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman have been charged in connection with drugs offences.

Police say reports detailing the circumstances will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
