WATCH: Armed police respond to incident in Hawick

Dramatic footage has emerged of armed police swooping on a block of flats in Hawick.
It follows reports of a disturbance in the Princes Street area of town around 3.20am this morning (Wednesday).
Locals report emergency services surrounded the building, which overlooks a row of shops in a busy residential area.
And a man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police remained on scene for a number of hours following the incident and say enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.20am on Wednesday, we were called to a report of a disturbance in the Princes Street area of Hawick.
“Emergency services attended and a man was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Officers remain in attendance in the Dickson Street and Princes Street areas. Enquiries are ongoing.”
