A court's heard a mechanic running late for his shift at a Borders farm was clocked travelling at speeds of up to 108mph.
And police officers following in an unmarked car had to go even faster to catch him.
Polish national Krzysztof Bujak was spotted repeatedly attempting to overtake on the A703 between Peebles and Leadburn when it was unsafe to do so - narrowly avoiding a collision with other road users.
The incident, which was captured on dashcam, unfolded around 6.40am on August 8th, 2023.
