Wolverhampton pair charged after man was hospitalised in robbery

A man and a woman have been charged with robbery and other offences after an incident on Evans Street in Whitmore Reans.

West Midlands police say they received calls that a man had been attacked and robbed on Friday night (5th September).

A 43-year-old man was taken to hospital with a suspected fractured jaw.

A West Midlands police spokesperson said: "Jodie Hope, aged 36, was charged with robbery and fraud.

"Nigel Watt, aged 45, was charged with robbery, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, possession of an offensive weapon and assault occasioning actual bodily harm."
