A woman has been charged after stealing over £900 worth of alcohol from a Wolverhampton supermarket.

Local police arrested a woman as part of an investigation into three separate thefts from Tesco on Marston Road during July where alcohol was taken from the store without payment.

Sarah Baker, from Wolverhampton, was later charged with three counts of theft.

The 40-year-old will appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (5 August).
