Man critically injured following Walsall road collision
Collision involves car and pushbike in Brownhills
A man is in a critical condition after a road traffic collision involving a car and a pushbike early this morning in Walsall (20 March).
The incident occurred at 5:30 am on the A5 in Brownhills.
West Midlands Ambulance Service dispatched two ambulances, a paramedic officer, and a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic to the scene.
A spokeswoman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service reported: “On arrival, a man was found in a critical condition.
"Crews immediately began administering basic life support before conveying him under emergency driving conditions to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.”
Emergency services continue to investigate the collision.
