Two charged after drugs and knives found in Birmingham

Pair to appear in court following seizure in city centre

Two men from the Black Country have been charged following the recovery of knives and class B drugs from a vehicle in Birmingham city centre.

Tanvir Dhaliwal, 35, from Wolverhampton, faces charges including failing to stop, possession of a knife, possession of class B drugs, and driving offences.

Dhaliwal is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today.

Satbir Singh, 37, from Oldbury, has been charged with possession of a knife and is set to appear in court next month.

The charges arise from the discovery of knives and cannabis in a vehicle on Broad Street, Birmingham, in the early hours of Saturday.
