Two men are facing court appearances in Dudley following two separate drink-driving incidents that occurred in the area.

Stanley Garrett, a 49-year-old from Tipton, and Jordan Bell, a 34-year-old from Dudley, have been charged with drink driving.

Bell is facing additional charges, including driving while disqualified, driving without insurance, and failing to stop after a road accident.

The two crashes unfolded across the borough on the evening of 6th May.

The first occurred shortly after 8.45pm on Cornwall Road, where a collision between two vehicles prompted Dudley Response Officers to attend the scene quickly and arrest Garrett.

Later in the evening, officers from the Traffic Unit, patrolling in an unmarked vehicle, witnessed a collision on Stourbridge Road.

They subsequently arrested Bell at 11.20pm on Cochrane Road.

Both men have been bailed ahead of Garrett's court appearance on 2nd June at Dudley Magistrates' Court and Bell's appearance on 4th June.
