A Telford shoplifter has been given a three-year Criminal Behaviour Order which bans her from entering a number of stores across the town.

28 year-old Molly Brown, of Saville Close in Wellington, was given the CBO at Shropshire Magistrates Court sitting at Telford.

Magistrates handed the 28-year-old the order after hearing how in August 2025 she had stolen from a Greggs store in the town.

Inspector Rich Jones said: “Shoplifting has a significant impact on businesses, staff and the wider community, and we will not tolerate this type of behaviour in Telford.

“This CBO demonstrates our commitment to dealing robustly with repeat offenders and protecting local retailers. The conditions placed on Brown are clear, and we hope this serves as a warning that continued offending will result in further action being taken.

“We will continue to work closely with businesses and partners to ensure those who commit offences face the consequences.”
