Police appeal for witnesses after woman stalked and harassed
Woman followed on trains, suspect arrested
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following two incidents of stalking and harassment involving a woman at Stourbridge Junction railway station.
The first incident took place at 8:15 pm on Monday, 23rd February, when a man began harassing a woman on the train to Stourbridge Junction, following her through the carriages and off the train, until a member of the public intervened.
The following evening at 8:30 pm, the same man reportedly followed the same woman on another train bound for Stourbridge Junction, continuing to pursue her off the train.
After the incidents were reported, British Transport Police officers patrolled the trains on which the events occurred and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of stalking.
Investigating officers are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incidents, overheard conversations, or intervened to contact them.
