Further charges and arrests after fatal stabbing of teen in Smethwick
A total of seven teenagers have been charged with murder, and three more have been arrested
A total of seven teenagers have been charged with murder and more have been arrested, following the death of an 18-year-old in Smethwick.
Zeshan Afzal died after being stabbed on Oldbury Road on 20th February.
A 17-year-old boy has been charged on 10th March on suspicion of murder.
This morning (11th March), a 13-year-old boy and two 17-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Officers say their thoughts remain with Zeshan's family.
An investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is being urged to call 101 quoting log number 4896 of 20 February.
