Shropshire man charged with making indecent images of children

A 70-year-old man from Shropshire has been charged with making and distributing indecent images of children.

Robert Gates, from Clee Hill in Ludlow has bee charged with two counts of distributing indecent images of children, two counts of making an indecent photograph of a child and breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order. He's now been remanded in custody.

Gates is due to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Monday 29 September.
