A sex offender from Walsall has had his time in jail extended after further victims were identified following an investigation.

67 year-old Brian Guest was originally jailed in January 2024 to more than 20 years for a rape and serious sexual offences against women and children.

Following Guest’s conviction, it emerged another woman had been subjected to Guest’s offending when she was child. This was investigated and Guest was found guilty of a further sexual offence at a hearing in July.

Guest was sentenced to an extra two years and six months in prison.
