Police appeal after woman assaulted in Wolverhampton

A woman was kicked and punched to the ground last year in Wolverhampton with police appealing for information.

The assault took place on 9 December between 6.45pm and 8.15pm, on Francis Street.

A woman was assaulted, punched and kicked by a man who also pulled her hair. She suffered a cut to her face. .

A 59-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He is currently on bail with strict conditions as our enquiries continue.
