A 21-year-old man from Luton is set to appear in court after charges were brought against him for stalking and sexually assaulting a teenage girl.

Miguel Fernandez has been charged with sexual assault, stalking, three counts of assault, and three counts of threatening a person with a blade.

He is scheduled to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court tomorrow, 24th April.

The charges stem from an incident on 20th March, when a teenage girl, after facing harassment online, was sexually assaulted.

The girl and two friends were also assaulted and threatened with a knife in West Bromwich.

Authorities emphasise their commitment to combating violence against women and girls.
