A man in his 50s was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries
A man has been arrested after another was hospitalised with life-threatening injuries following an assault in Smethwick, police say.
Emergency services were called out to St Pauls Road just before 8.30pm on 14 June.
A man in his 50s was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injures.
A 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding.
He's currently being questioned in custody.
Officers are still at the scene investigating.
