Man and woman arrested on suspicion of selling drugs in Dudley shops

A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs using shops in Dudley.

They were detained as part of an operation targeting drug dealing across the West Midlands.

Police say they're working to tackle the issue: "We're involved in active investigations about drug dealing in the area and anticipate more arrests.

"We're aware of media reporting around the issue of drug dealing and we want to reassure our communities in Dudley, and across the wider region, we won't tolerate illegal activities and are taking action.

"Drugs not only ruin lives but fuel further crime."

The man and woman arrested remain in police custody for questioning.
