Group of men jailed after woman shot and seriously hurt in Dudley
Three men were convicted of attempted murder, and others were sentenced for their roles in the shooting and car theft.
More than 80 years in prison have been handed out to a group of men after a shooting in Dudley left a woman in her 20s with life-changing injuries.
She was hit by a bullet fired through her front door on Priory Road on the 3rd of July 2025.
Three men were found guilty of attempted murder, with others sentenced for stealing the car used in the attack.
Kile Straker of Armstrong Drive, Wolverhampton, Ethan Colbourne of Moat Road, Tipton and Kieron Atkins of Rydding Lane, West Bromwich were convicted of attempted murder and possession of a fireman with intent to endanger life following a trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
Iranveer Gill, of Bridgnorth Road, Shipley, was also convicted of theft of a motor vehicle.
Straker and Colbourne along with Stephen Simms of Alexandra Road pleaded guilty to theft of motor vehicle before the start of the trial.
Straker was jailed for 30 years with an additional five years on licence.
Colbourne was sentenced to 26 years.
Atkins was jailed for 28 years.
Smith was sentenced to 10 months.
Gill was given an eight month suspended sentence.
