A man has been arrested after officers were threatened with a firearm in Dudley.

On Tuesday, police were called just before 8.10pm to Moor Street, Brierley Hill.

Officers were threatened with an imitation firearm.

A 56-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm.

He is currently in hospital receiving treatment for an unrelated matter and will be questioned in due course.
