Dylan Beard has been jailed for six years
A man who threatened to stab two teenagers during an attempted bike robbery in Walsall has been jailed for six years.
The incident happened near Broad Lane in Bloxwich on 23 May.
The court heard how 18-year-old Dylan Beard approached the two boys near the railway station and demanded their bikes.
Beard threatened to stab them, but the teenagers managed to keep hold of their bikes.
One of the boys was left with a broken nose after being punched in the face.
Beard, of Campville Grove, Solihull, was arrested a few days later at his home address.
He admitted two counts of attempted robbery and was jailed for six years on Wednesday 22 July.
