Three men have been arrested for drug and weapon offences after officers stopped a car they spotted in a Dudley car park.

Officers on patrol yesterday evening (2nd February) became suspicious of an interaction in a car park off Cross Walks, Lye.

A car was stopped and searched, and cannabis, cash, mobile phones and a knife were found.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A or B drugs, possession of an offensive weapon and assault on police.

He was reportedly aggressive towards officers as three men were being detained.

Two other men, aged 22 and 23, were also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A or B drugs and having an offensive weapon.
