Two arrested after drugs farm found in South Shropshire
Officers found a cannabis farm and cannabis worth an estimated £45000
A woman in her 60s and man in his 20s have been arrested after police officers found a drugs farm and cannabis at an address in Minstrelsy.
Officers in South Shropshire carried out the warrant yesterday (4th September).
The drugs are estimated to have a street value of £45000.
A West Mercia police spokesperson said "A woman, aged in her 60s, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of production of cannabis and was taken into police custody.
"A search of a second property was carried out by officers a short time later, where a quantity of cash and class A drugs were discovered.
"A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested at that address on suspicion of production of cannabis and was taken into police custody.
"Both have since been released on bail as enquiries continue."
