Crews tackle large field fire in Shrewsbury

Crews are attending a large field fire in Longden, Shrewsbury.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue says it has spread to nearby buildings.

Nine crews are in attendance and the service is encouraging the public to avoid the area.

Firefighters are wearing breathing apparatus and using hose reel jets to tackle the fire.
