A man from Cradley Heath has appeared in court after being charged with terrorism offences following a counter-terrorism policing operation.

Maroof Abdullah, aged 18, was arrested at an address in Cradley Heath on Friday 6 March by detectives from Counter Terrorism Policing West Midlands as part of a pre-planned operation.

He was later charged with two counts of disseminating terrorist materials.
