Couple dies in Shropshire crash

A man and woman in their 70s have died in a road collision in Shropshire.

The pair died at the scene of the single vehicle crash on the B4380 between the junctions for Park View and Much Wenlock on Saturday afternoon at around 3.30.

West Mercia Police's Sergeant Nathan Johnson said, "This was a tragic collision and our thoughts are with the loved ones of those who have died. They are being supported by specialist officers.

"We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision and from drivers who may have dashcam footage from around the time it happened."
