A classic car show event could be coming to a south Shropshire town.

Councillor Mark Morris has informed Church Stretton Town Council clerk, Connor Furnival about the possibility of it happening in the Square.

“It would only be for a couple of hours as they would advertise it themselves, but I thought it might be nice to help pull people in to help the local businesses for one evening,” said Councillor Morris, who also represents The Strettons on Shropshire Council.

“They just wondered if the town council would support it and if so, work a date out. It would be in the middle of the week.”

Church Stretton Town Council members will consider the request when they meet on Tuesday (June 23).
